Thanks to everyone who donated items to the local family who has lost everything in a house fire over the holidays. We have a van full of donations! We have everything ranging from a television to clothing, shoes, toys, winter coats and several gift cards as well. We are proud of this display of thoughtfulness and generosity from our Oxford Golden Bears community. Football aside, we believe in positively impacting our community wherever possible, and you all have certainly done that. Thank you again and have a safe and happy New Year.

Congrats to all our Boys and Girls for a Great Season!!
Congratulations on a great season by all our young men and women athletes! Our JV's only lost a total of 6 games all season long and our 80 JV's went undefeated! All our varsity squads had multiple wins this season as well and we had our first visit to Bert Bell playoffs since rejoining the league. Great job by all our boys and girls, tremendous Coaches and supportive families. This group has sent the message that we are a force to be reckoned with in the years to come!

The Oxford Golden Bears Board of Directors are very proud and excited to announce that our founder, Dr. Anthony Bering, DDS., or “Doc” as he is affectionately known, has been chosen to receive the very prestigious “2011 Youth League Award” to be presented at The Connelly Center at Villanova University on the evening of May 4th, 2011. Doc founded the OGB and has provided 35 years of leadership, guidance and friendship to the Golden Bears and is very much deserving of this honor.
